Photographer Michelle Tran’s intuition to connect with her subjects and her surroundings reveals vivid personalities and moments that might pass us by. Stylistically, she’s regarded for her warmth and fresh approach on set; technically precise and always energised. Born in Melbourne to Vietnamese refugee parents, her artistic practice developed from portraiture through a documentary lens, exploring cultural identity.
